Photographer's Note
Cheminιe de Moretti ΰ la Dιfense, a well known sight for people visiting the la Dιfense area. There are several photos on te of this structure. Made by Raymond Moretti, the ‘Cheminιe d'aιration’is a 30 m parking chimney with coloured glass fibre. The trick is how to photograph it and also to show how big it is. I decided on this one by including one of the skyscrapers behind it. I was lucky that this other building had curved walls which echoes the curves of the work of art.

One of the best shots of this place.
It looks like a paradise for photographers.
Here there is a great composition of lines and colors. The blue sky is the perfect touch.

Hello Mark,
A great graphical image of this rainbow chimney. I like the angled upwards view; it helps emphasise the geometric lines. Clarity and colours are superb. I visited La Dιfense a number of years ago; I guess it's about time for a second visit.

Hi Mark, this is exactly colors i love, kind of polarizing and saturation i'm a fan and that hits so much my eyes ... this deep blue almost dark in some parts above those thin lines of bright colors is truely a pleasure.
I like how you placed a line perfectly straight on the left part of the picture and this inclusion of a glass building, totally graphical and effective on my eyes.

Hello Mark,
thanks for this new shot of Moretti chimney. I will be in Paris in 10 days and I will try to visit this place. Your photo and the ones of Marietom really give me the wish to discover this place.
I like the composition of this photo playing with the texture of the artwork and the one smoother of the building. Putting them close to close provides a real interest to the picture.

What an amazing graphical work! The coloured glass fibre looks like it is moving. And the skyscrapers in the background give a great feel of the size and perspective. Nice one!!

For my next visit to Paris, this building is going to be top of my list to visit. Your framing is simple but so effective with just the right angles. Great contrast between the 2 buildings and they both stand out really well against the deep blue sky.
