Le Port du Pavé ,(The Port of the Paving stone)
Bay of the "Aiguillon", estuary of "Sévres Niortaise", boats intended for mytiliculture.
Charron is a commune located in the department of the Charente-Maritime and the Poitou-Charentes area, known for its production of shells, in particular the mussels. In edge of bay of the "Aiguillon" in extreme limit of the Charente-Maritime and of the Vendée, Charron is a part of the park inter area of poitevin marsh.
Charron has one of the best sunning of the Atlantic frontage. It is the principal center of production of mussels of "bouchots" of the area, on the estran of the "Aiguillon", the mytiliculteurs use approximately 60 boats and produce 10 000 t/an. The "Port du Pavé", (port of the paving stone), is one of the most important center of forwarding of the mussel of "bouchots". The breeding of the mussel of "bouchots" is done on high piles of oak, the "bouchots", fixed in the zone of swinging of the tides which are discovered with low tide.

Superbe ces vagues, le captage est mangifique, est-ce qu tu t'es couhcé dans le sable pour photographier ce bâteaux, avec un beau ciel cumulusé, mangifique.

J'aime la tonalité de ce cliché.Du bleu pastel donné par la bonne orientation de la lumière.Le cliché est net et bien exposé.Du bel ouvrage.

Hello Joel,
Another place I need to put on my list of places to visit! A good pov looking diagonally along the shoreline. I like the low angle of view that puts a pleasing emphasis on the incoming tide. Good light and colours.

beautiful blue and grey composition with the sharpness starting over the waves and lasting to the ships. Cloudy sky with good atmosphere and it is unfair, I like mussels, but I don't have some. ;-)

Avec l'angle tu as donné à cette photo, on a peine à croire que de tels bateaux puissent naviguer si près de la plage. Bravo pour les couleurs très maritimes. Il ne te reste plus qu'à nous montrer les parcs à proprement parler...
