Photographer's Note
First of a short series "Autour de la voie Mathis" (Around the Mathis lane).
This road permits to go from the West to the East of Nice without stop. It forms an alternative way to la Promenade des Anglais. An important part is parallel to the railway. Because of the noise, the traffic pollution etc areas along the road are not attractive and have been fixed as they were in the 50’s (small houses or small buildings) or totally destroyed and replaced with buildings. I'd like to underline these different aspects.
The PP of this photo is a trial... Thank you for your critics.

This shot really works for me. I love the over the top contrast. It looks great here. The person coming through the tunnel is a delight. I like the way the tunnel is framed by a white square, which draws even more attention to that spot with the silhouetted human figure. Nice work.

Elle me botte grave cette image, par la profondeur du noir, par la dimenssion des blancs mais surtout par la prιsence d'une personne (tu vois que ca aide)dans le tunel.
Combien tu me la vends? Je te commande un tirage A4, a mettre chez moi, c'est possible?

wow ! superbe cadrage et n&b excellent. J'aime beaucoup la silhouette qui se dιtache et le choix de la prise vertical pour donner de la hauteur ΰ la photo. Belle rιpartition de la lumiθre. J'aime beaucoup

Hey Christophe,
watching this from top to bottom is a great experience. Its dramatic by the contrast and the movement, and then we get to the person at the bottom and it really hits us.

une photo plus qu'intιressante Christophe... l'atmosphere rendue est un peu terrifiante avec cette personne arrivant, comme si nous devenions un tueur en attendant sa proie... Le fort contraste est excellent!

Tres bien monte ca, Christophe. En plus une vue pas du tout ussuelle de Nice - c'est la vieille ville n7est-ce pas? Pleine de truands Corses...oops que dis-je la? Ha ha... enfin, j'imagine.
Vraiment, chapeau. Au fait avec ton E-500, t'es bien oblige de "cropper" a chaque fois a cause de la difference de format, non? Ca ne t'embete pas? Qund tu auras une minute de libre, parle-moi un peu de ton Olympus, cela m'interesse.

Elle est trθs bien pensιe celle-ci... J'aime cette dιlicate plongιe dans le passage... Je serais curieux d'en connaitre l'originale, voir si tu as beaucoup jouι sur les contrastes... En tout cas belle rιalisation...
