KASTELL TRESAOZON, KEMPENIEG, BRO SANT MALOU

TRECESSON CASTLE, CAMPENEAC, BRITTANY

A nice little manor house built with red stone during the 15th century. It is situated near the legendary Forest de Broceliande. Its a quiet place and the reflection of the manor in the water is never the same.

A very sad legend is told about this manor. In 1750, a man poaching near the castle was the witness of the murder of a bride by her brothers: they buried her alive. The poacher did not dare to call help, and when he went to prevent the Earl of Trecesson, it was to late. They buried again the poor, with more respect this time. The Earl tried to discover the identity of the young woman, but even if he did it, he never revealed the truth.

You liked it ? there are plenty of legend such as this one in Brittany. But our legends are different, because there are true !
