J'ai pris ce musicien de rue sur la place Bellecour, à Lyon.
J'ai eu cette composition en tête dès que j'ai aperçu le musicien et la possibilité de le cadrer avec la Basilique de Fourvière et la statue de Louis XIV.
Il ne restait plus qu'à attendre le passage d'une personne.
Pour obtenir la photo que je vous présente ici, j'ai beaucoup travaillé sur le contraste et les couleurs.
Cela a été rendu nécessaire par l'orientation du soleil , peu favorable, qui bouchait la lumière sur la statue et sur le musicien.

I took this musician shot on the Bellecour place, in Lyon.
This composition was in my head as soon as I saw the musician and the possibility of framing him in with the Fourvière Basilica and Louis XIV statue.
After, I just wait for a person to go through the frame.
To obtain the photograph that I present to you here, I worked much on contrast and the colors. That was made necessary by the orientation of the sun, unfavorable, which stopped the light on the statue and the musician.

Quite interesting to see this photo and surprising the low visitng and critique numbers. The composition with the musician and that chic lady in the fg are awsome. The other people in the bg as well as the statue and the different buildings give a rich story telling for the photo. Although I like your B&W choice I have the feeling that you did to much on the PS. I can not pinpoint it exactly what I mean. It's just a hunch.

Bonjour JB,
J'aime beaucoup cette composition qui oppose le musicien qui reste sur place et la fille qui passe dans l'autre sens. Très bonne idée de les avoir tous les 2 placés bord cadre pour donner de la profondeur aux batiments du dessus.
Le contraste est quand même un peu dur mais les conditions de lumière semblent vraiment difficile.

Salut JB,
seems like you had a bright sun to deal with judging by the direction and long shadows. I don't think it's a prefect result but I do like the overall composition, there's a lot going on and the front two figures are well placed. A fine effort JB.

Une atmosphère étrange se dégage de la photo. On se demande dans quel pays on est. Je pense que le traitement que tu as fait subir au cliché y est pour beaucoup. Mais ce n'est pas pour me déplaire, je pense que tu as su tirer partie au mieux de cette lumière du soir.

Hello JB,
Excellent capture of this man performing at the square while everyone is giving attention to everything less him.
The details of the statue and buildings behind are very interesting and brings a lot to this composition of yours.
Nice choice this to partially desaturate the colours giving an excllent mood to this photo.
