Historique :
Le clocher prιsente une grosse tour carrιe dιcouronnιe de son beffroi, flanquιe d'une tour carrιe d'escalier. La travιe sous-jacente date du 12e siθcle, vestige d'une ιglise plus ancienne. La faηade occidentale est sans doute celle de l'ιglise d'origine, mais remaniιe. La porte en arc surbaissι est surmontιe d'une frise de rinceaux martelιs. La voϋte sur croisιe d'ogives de la travιe sous le clocher a ιtι refaite au 16e siθcle. Au sud se trouve la chapelle seigneuriale aux armes des Mallemouche, reliιe ΰ une autre chapelle carrιe contemporaine. Le choeur se termine par un chevet plat percι d'une baie flamboyante.

Hello Philippe,
This church looks rather heavy and compact, like so many others from those early medieval centuries. The window looks to me like it could have some Gothic influence. Or maybe I am wrong? It's in any case a well exposed photo where you handled sunny and shady parts equally well, and the colours are clear and natural.

Hello Philippe,

We feel to be secretly peeping at this old church from behind the bushes. It is a very well composed photograph, the building slightly angled and off-centre, accessed by a textured, gravel path.
There is enough b/g information to reveal that the church is not isolated but not enough to create a distraction.

Philippe, that church is very very old but it was renovated afterwards. The stonework comprises a tower. Interesting photo note, fine colors, good sharpness, amitiι.

I must always thinks how the construction workers this all can construct durin the XII th century.
Today a house max 40 year and than again renovate
Nice sharp and clear to look at.
Composition and colours are pleasant .

L'ιglise est joliment prιsentιe et encadrιe avec la pelouse verte ΰ droite et les branches ΰ gauche. Je suppose qu'il y avait peu de place pour une bonne position car la branche supιrieure cache partiellement la croix. Comme les maisons ΰ l'arriθre se trouvent proches de l'ιglise, une photo d'ici est la meilleure option.
Trθs bonne gestion de la lumiθre, nettetι et clartι.

Cette ιglise est trθs originale, ce qui semble unifier la nef et la tour dans un tout, curieux de l'effet pyramidal qu'elle donne.
