This is simply fine: a lady, her shadow and the shadow of the boule on a common grey background. Nothing more required. I asked myself if a square format would have been applicable, but your choice seems to be the better one.

Salut Claude,c'est le sport national de sud de la France, mais tres commune chez moi aussi,mon pere etait un bon joueur et j'ai encore ses trophes dans ma maison. Une capture originale comme d'habitude,bien joueee' avec le moment et l'ombre de la vieille dame. Bon WE et merci,Luciano

Excellent timing in this shot. You couldn't have captured the boule at a better time and its shadow falls within the frame too. Very effective.

You can clearly see the way this woman follows the boules with her eyes and how she holds the other ball in her hand that she is an experienced player even though she does not look like a professional.
