Photographer's Note
It's a long time I didn't go downtown and I wanted to take some pictures of the rain. We had had a storm the day before, but no problem in the area as in the South East of France. It was still raining. I found a shelter and had a place in front of me where lots of people wander. The most difficult thing was to focus on the persons and hope not to have someone crossing your vision while you pressed the trigger.

Hello Claude,
The wet street created good opportunities for nice reflections. Thanks to the red chairs you didn't have to wait for a lady in red. A girl in yellow did just as well.

Hello Claude, Even during the rain one can take lovely colourful picture. The reflection in the wet pavement is very attractive. Nice yellow raincoat.

I could have taken this picture in the city today because the weather here is definitely as wet as in the picture. But I didn't feel like braving the fierce rain and thunderstorms.
Fortunately, you did that for us with this wonderful result.

Hi Claude,
Bright yellow seems to be the only right colour for a raincoat! Well captured street moment on a rainy day. Reflections on the wet pavement look really good. Obviously no-one wants to sit on the cafe chairs.

Hi Claude, you were well rewarded for venturing out in the rain with this fine reflection. Great that they were wearing a bright rain coat which contrasts nicely with the colour of the bike. cheers, Steve

Brilliant. Fantastic colours and reflection. Well done on shooting in the rain, most photographers stay at home.
Funny, it was Indian Summer in Poland, with uninterrupted sunshine and summery temperatures, while France and the UK were drowning in the rain (I got both - rain in London on Friday and the warm weather in Krakow on Saturday).

Bonjour Claude,
thank you again for your workshop. I accept and see your point about my photo being dominated by the blue color but it was a complicated story, when you desaturated cyan the sky and sea turned grey, basically the scene was very much blue and it was not easy to improve. I answered to your comment there.
Here in your photo on the other hand we have a lovely yellow color also reflected in the wet pavement.
Nice street scene with two bikers.
