Le lac de la Glθre est un lac de 2 ha et d'une profondeur de 10 mθtres , situι dans le Massif de Nιouvielle , ΰ 2103 mθtres d'altitude . On l'atteint en moins de 2 heures de marche depuis le Camp-Rollot , dans la vallιe de Barθges .
A droite , perchι sur un promontoire rocheux , le refuge de la Glθre offre 65 places aux randonneurs qui veulent dιcouvrir ce magnifique secteur de montagne granitique riche en lacs .

Beautiful picture with an amazing reflecting lake. It really looks like a mirror made of glass instead if water. It most has been extremely windless that day. The red flowers are an attractive detail in the scene.

The highlight for me is of course the surface of the lake which is reflecting the sky color so nicely!
Great asymmetric composition with the slope of the mountain adding a lovely diagonal. The foreground was perfectly chosen as well.

hmmm....which photo to pick from your gallery? there are so many beautiful ones to choose from :)
I went with this one because I enjoy the green and blue color contrasts, and also the way the mountains form that V shape with the water in the middle.
amazing scenery in the South of France. Pin sharp, clear, bright and colourful, excellent exposure too
