I'm a relative novice photographer who is not very good at critiquing either. So this is my opinion only.
I have to say, I just love this picture. I love the composition, the amount of grass included is just perfect. Focus, depth of field and exposure are just right also. Mind you, it helps to have a very interesting subject, and you have made the very most of it.

Quintessential Camargue! The horses and the vegetation in the foreground emblematic of that beautiful region of France. I like the almost monochromatic colour palette and high key style of the image.
Having said all that - I hope you are going to post most images of Indonesia?? :-)

wow ..i really like this one for the emotion it evokes.love the fact that only upper half of the frame reveals the horses.the one horse looking in another direction from the others makes the pic for me.

Hello Patrick - I dream of seeing the white horses of the Camargue, to me they conjurer up a wild romanticism in my mind. Your photograph tallies exactly with my dreams! How beautifully you have captured them. Your long lens has pulled them towards the beautiful natural FG details and there is a feeling of freedom and movement here. Lovely soft colour palette too.
