Hi Jean,
This makes an intriguing image, and one which really draws the eye in. Nicely done that the bright area is not over exposed while in the shadows we an still see a great amount of detail in the brickwork. Amazing that this scene is from France, I would have guessed north Africa.

Hello Jean
The dark buildings act as a frame for the sunlit steps and door beyond. All that's missing is a figure to bring life to the scene. Beautiful.
