Photographer's Note
Living in the north where winters can be hard and long and gray, travelling south is always a pleasure. Almost every year during the Easter break we are one of those cars heading down the 'autoroute du soleil'. A day's drive south to catch the blue sky and feel the sun.
Puyloubier-Sainte-Victoire is a small town at the foot of the impressive Mont Sainte-Victoire, at the heart of the Provence. We passed through on the trail of Cιzanne and enjoyed a couple of drinks on the outdoor terrace of the town bar. Quality time!

Great shot, Benny. One can almost feel the freshness of approaching spring. I love the whimsical shadows of washing fluttering in the wind, and the trace of coldness in the bright sunny morning. Good POV: Perhaps a human figure strolling in the street would have perfected the picture.

Het zuiden van Frankrijk zorgt voor een mooie blauwe hemel.
De oude gevels van de gebouwen met de was op het balkon zijn extra toevoegingen aan de foto.

Hello Benny,
with the washing hanging from the balcony and the shutters on the wall there is a serene and timeless look to the almost deserted street scene.
The warm colours and crisp details are very pleasing.
