Photographer's Note
The structure needs no introduction. The Eiffel Tower stands above all else in the city of lights and commands your attention day and night. It looms over the streets and stands at the end of boulevards and terraces, peers over rooftops and its reflection shimmers in the Seine. It's seemingly omnipresent. It takes on a personality of its own. This was taken during the height of summer just after descending from the summit for more exploration of the city.

Not so often depicted in close up, so I like it for that and for the format and choice of B/W!

Hi Matt,
Very cool shot, as we see so many different shot of this famous tower, it is hard to come up with somthing new and uniques. I like the idea of the close up approach, it is almost unrecignizable. I love how we can see all the little people up there enjoying the view, black and white is also a good choice and it is timeless.
