Ville di Pietrabugno

The town of Ville di Pietrabugno is located on the heights of Bastia. It overlooks a beautiful eastern plain with Biguglia and the city of Bastia. In 1770, three municipalities were merged to give birth to this village which became known as Pietrabugno, named after the ancient castle of Pietra near an apiary (Bugno in Corsica).
