The collegial. July 29th, 2010.
Built at the end of the 15th century, the collegial Notre-Dame was the chapel of the castle, included in the 650 meters of ramparts and the 13 towers of the perimeter of the fortress.
It has a 44 meters length single nave and more than 12 meters of width, with a convex vault of style from Angers, known as also Plantagenêt.
It is the parish church since the beginning of the 19th century.
With this Loire château, it dominates the valley of the THOUET, tributary of the LOIRE river.
The Loire valley's châteaux are castles located in the "Centre" area, and the "Pays de la Loire" area, in Anjou.
_Le THOUET is a 142 kilometers length river, whose source is located at 225 meters of altitude close to the farm of the "Pointerie", of the commune of Beugnon, in the department of Deux-Sèvres. The Thouet river is thrown on left bank of the Loire river, in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent.
MONTREUIL-BELLAY is a French commune, located in the department of Maine-et-Loire of the area of the "Pays de la Loire", populated of 4112 Montreuillais in 1999, distributed out of 50 km², that is to say 83 hab./km².
The commune of Montreuil-Bellay is located in the middle of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Natural Park.

Agréable soirée et joli crépuscule pour mettre en valeur cette superbe collégiale. J'aime bien ton cadrage mais celui que tu nous montres en WS me plaît aussi avec ce reflet dans la rivière. Trépied bien utilisé ici. Et à l'intérieur je suppose que tu étais à plat ventre !!! Encore une belle série, merci Joël.

La distance entre la maison et l'église donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de l'église collégiale Notre-Dame. La luminosité fait ressortir les couleurs. Bon dimanche.

This is a great blue hour shot. The blending of natural and artificial lighting is outstanding here making for a very attractive photo. Your composition is fine showing the church and fortification from an angle that creates depth and direction. The WS shots are a nice compliment to the post.

Les détails architecturaux sont magnifiques et tu as choisi le meilleur moment pour prendre cette image-là!
La netteté, la gestion de la lumière, les couleurs naturelles, le pdv choisi, le pp, les contrastes, le format horizontal, l'encadrement noir & blanc et la compo sont excellents!
