Photographer's Note
communication between human beings can be difficult. communication between a man and a woman or in a couple can get very complicated...
tons of cliches surround the communication flow between these two worlds - I hear all my male colleagues and friends complaining that their girlfriends or wives give them the silent treatment and sulk for hours and when asked why, they simply reply "you should know why!" (the famous "crystal ball" reply). on the other hand my female colleagues and friends agree that men, especially husbands, boyfriends and partners, are "bottled up", that they "cannot share their feelings", that "they never talk about themselves"...
the ancients used to say that the truth is in the middle - I don't disagree, but I also think that modern man has "unlearned" how to communicate. paradoxically speaking, in this so-called communication age a lot gets said, but not much of it can be defined as communication.

Ciao Cris,

Ciao Cristina!
Bellissima!
The graphical results obtained are so eye-catching!
Adding those two people there was a great idea for the composition too!
Sharpness, exposure, pov, black & white for the picture and for the borders, vertical format, pp and contrasts are all outstanding features here!
Original and beautiful!
TFS - congratulations!

Hi Cristina,
Quite a stunning effect of graphical elements and perspective (size and angles). There is perhaps evena story between these two..

Ciao Cris,
Buona sera.

Hello Cristina,
An amusing title, a well written note and a marvellously elegant composition. Simplicity at its very best. A splendid observation.
Kind regards,

Hi Cristina
interesting and enjoyable write up. Amazing how men and women are so different, yet so much the same.
as for the photo itself, the gap between the two people really enhances the effect, very dramatic.
also, the lines are spectacular.
well seen and captured.
Cheers

Ciao Cri,

LG, Frank

i remember this series, more surreal than anything else, such a geometry is not often seen in daily life so anything life form juxtaposed will feel surreal..
i like this alot, a nice break from your current

Hi Cristina,
Excellent graphical composition ! POV is excellent and the man and the woman are perfectly placed in the photo. B&W adds some graphic atmosphere. I made this photo at the same place, but it is not as beautiful as yours !

Ciao Cristina. A very evocative photo, one on which one could write a poem, a story or some thesis. Amazing bit of serendipity where the emotions involved are complemented by all the lines which divide, dissect, compartmentalize. Splendid use of B&W and the delicate graphism of the image is nicely matched by an equally fine-line border.Modern in design, ancient in meaning.( Ancient, since the dialogue hasn't really changed much. Before the dynamics were hidden from public view, now the urban human is more visible and so are the dynamics of relationships.)Interesting, your work. regards. Klaudio.

HA COMMUNICATION OF TODAY - DIFFICULT TO DEFINE
IF WE THINK THAT SOME BYTES ON OUR SCREEN IS COMMUNICATION..?
OK YES THEY CAN SHARE A LOT OF POWER , QUICK INFO, PHOTOS THAT MAYBE WE NEVER SEE AND THE POSSIBILITY TO CHANGE OPINIONS...
BUT
WE HAVE LOST THE POSSIBILITY TO HEAR THE OTHERS VOICE, TO SEE HIS EYES FACE TO FACE , TO READ HIS LETTER WITH HIS OWN HAND WRITTING TO SMELL HIM
WE HAVE LOST THE POSSIBITY TO WAIT ANXIOUSLY A LETTER IN THE MAILBOX OR EVEN A FAX,
NOW IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF SMS, MMS, XXG, FFS etc etc...BYTES AROUND US TRAVELLING WITH SPEED OF LIGHT AND WE ARE SITTING IN OUR CORNER CREATING THEM ON OUR SCREENS....WITHOUR SEE, HEAR, SMELL THE OTHER PERSON.
AN ISSUE HAS ALWAYS ITS GOOD AND ITS BAD SIDE !
HOW WE SAY? THE BLACK SIDE OF THE MOON ?
STRICT PHOTO AND LIGHT TOO
VERY PLACEMENT OF THE CAMERA
BRAVO CRISTINA !
