Hello John,
I like this shot very much. In the foreground, however, I think the hanging branches should be darker and better defined. If you do not mind, I will try a ws, as an alternative viewpoint. It may not improve the photo, but I believe it will mimic the human eye a little more.

Great tree framing and mood in this photo. The winter feel to the trees works well. Makes the scene seem cold, early day. Very nice capture of a mood. TSF
