Photographer's Note
Sun has just set behind the horizon. Its last reflects are illuminatig the sky and the beach with purples and yellow lights.
Changes are obvious. Colors, light, contrast...
Lee Filters used are here soft Neutral Graduated filters (a 0.9 of course ! not less). I don't remember if I completed it with a Neutral Density filter.
I don't use color filter.
The greatest difficulty here was the color balance, between dusk blue rocks, and the burning sky. The perfect solution would be a software able to deal with different color temperature for one photo...

Hi I saw that you used the Lee Filters, but which one you used here? Nice colors result and effect on water. The light control are great.

Les couleurs sont magnifiques, ainsi que le filι sur les vagues.
J'ai la mκme question que bona, par filtres Lee, lesquels utilisez vous? juste les gris neutre, ou des filtres colorιs?

This is a great sunset shot. The orange glow of the sky is great. The blurred water in the foreground creates a nice effect and helps set the mood for the shot. The vertical format works great here emphasizing the depth for the scene.

Don't worry about the different color balances. You have the perfect balance here. If you want I can tell you how to have the effect you want. I'll describe it in brief here and if you have any questions just ask me.
In Photoshop you import the RAW (I guess you are shooting in RAW), change the white balance for the 1st of the 2 parts you want and save as TIFF 16 bit.
Import the RAW again chance the white balance for the 2nd part you want and save as TIFF 16 bit.
Open the first and the second image in Photoshop.
In the first image create a second layer as a copy of the image. Go to second layer select all, copy and paste to the first image, second layer.
After that you have to blend them together and brush over the regions you need the different white balance. Make sure the brush size is the right and the colors are set to white and black for fore/background.

Really stunning image, the sky looks like it is on fire. You have captured all the colours of the scene excellently. Perfect balance, nice foreground detail, the horizon at just the right level. Great vertical orientation. TFS!
