A view of old port of Bastia taken around noon.
The former fishing port called Porto Cardo is the old port of Bastia. It has a few fishing boats but vessels leisure. Around the basin, the walk is pleasant and you will eat well. On the pier of the Dragon, you can reach by stairs through the old garden of the Palace of Governors to the former speaker of "A Bastiglia. This district, which gave its name to Bastia dominates the port and offers a magnificent view over the city.
Now it is pedestrian. You can walk in peace to visit the museum which has just reopened in the palace, the Cathedral of Santa Maria.
