Hi Jean,
Bright coloured flowers brighten up the day in autumn darkness. Especially the picture in top is all about bright colours. In Finland flowers don't have much chance to survive in the end of October or early November. There are lots of candles in cemeteries in All Saint's Day and Christmas.

Hello Jean,
I really have no idea what kinds of flowers are associated with All Saints' Day in Sweden. I never bothered much about that, but I appreciate these photos for their brightness and clarity. They're so much nicer than the grinning faces of Halloween pumpkins.

Hello Jean,

We tend to associate white lilies with honouring the dead, though if they are honouring dead soldiers it is red poppies.

I think chrysanthemums are a good choice for their colourful options and their longevity. I love the repeating patterns in your first contribution, whilst the details of the incurved flower, in the second example, are nice and sharp; it might have been useful to crop the top of the flower, which has some slight oe, and concentrate our attention on the beauty of the lower petals.

Salut Jean,
Aussi en Belgique, les tombes des cimetières sont décorées de chrysanthèmes à Toussaint et le Jour des Morts.
Ces fleurs sont associées à la commémoration des morts et ne feraient certainement pas un beau cadeau lors d'un mariage.
Quand j'étais petit, tous les chrysanthèmes en Belgique étaient blancs. Maintenant, ils sont disponibles dans de nombreuses couleurs. Vous pouvez même acheter des pots plus grands avec un mélange de couleurs.
Beau collage coloré à l'occasion de cette fête.

I've never heard of All Saints day being celebrated in Australia so sorry - no Australian traditions for you.
This collage is a beautiful one of the flowers - great colour and sharpness.

All Saint's Day is generally not celebrated here, and there isn't a set kind of flowers that people usually bring to cemeteries. This assortment is very pretty and colorful. I especially like the top photo. Take care!
