Hello Jean,
The many flowers are a beautiful tribute to the dead and suit the photo well with their intense autumn colours, but I also like the blue and yellow details of the buildings. The monument as such is a strong eye-catcher even in the tough competition from the flowers.

Hello Nice picture of this monument commemorating the heroes of two world wars. Beautiful colours. In English-speaking countries, there are usually used red poppies on this occasion.
That day November 11, 1918, also Poland gained independence after a long time of nonexistence on the maps. It is our Independence Day today.

Salut Jean, chez nous on celebre la fin de la 1ere guerre le 4 Novembre, une belle maniere de le faire avec un tapis de fleurs colores au dessous de la staute qui souvien ca,qualite' et lumiere top! Belle soiree' et merci,Luciano

Hello Jean,
A great photo of the war memorial and the many colourful flowers at its foot. Also the blue and yellow of the houses are appealing and well included in the composition from this angle. Wonderful sunlight also.

a nice vertical compo. I liked the flowers in evidence and the retangles in the faηades adding more color. the statue if well used here too. excellent. I am happy my country never faced a war in my life and I wasn't obligated to fight as millions were..
