Photographer's Note
Continuing the project "Les machines de l'île de Nantes", this is the first branch of the "Heron Tree" in front of the refurbished warehouse.
It will eventually measure 45m in diameter, and will be surmounted by 2 herons on whose wings the public will board for a circular flight, and hop from branch to branch amongst incredible suspended gardens.
5 WS.

Bonjour,

Marie-Louise this series you are doing is really enjoyable. What imaginations these designers have. I like how you have framed this and really captured so much action.
Thanks

Amicalement,
José

Hello Marie Louise,
A different picture with many interesting details!
I read with interest the story about the heron tree and notice the beginning, I assume we will be updated on the development hehehe...
Colourful architecture, hopefully shopping malls in the future will be different from grey square boxes!
And I wish you all a wonderful White Christmas!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Bonjour Marie Louise,
I like this set of photos which you show to us :) Very unusual! Where else can we see such an incredible construction??
I really can't decide to which of the two photos (this one or the WS "Altered Image #1") I should give preference!
Composition-wise, I think I like the WS photo a bit more (the shot which shows the clousep view of one of the branches - and the people walking) :)
...whereas this shot presents an interesting perspective, general, view!..
:-)
Warmest wishes,
Elena

Combined well in it's surroundings - the crane / heron stands there.
I see the kids around, therefore I assum it was part of an amusement park. Good DOF , bright and clear view.
Ike
P.S.
I dublle checked , "Turdus-Merula" is the correct species of Shahrur.
