Photographer's Note
Second sight on VANNES.
At the ramparts' feet, in front of the door POTERNE and on the left of the Constable's Tower, are these splendid laundrettes of the 18 E century.
To the Second World War, women of VANNES came there to wash their linen and to chatter.
Behind these laundrettes, one sees spanning the ditch, the street Porte POSTERN of which you will see a photo tomorrow.
This image was carried out by the assembly with PANAVUE of two photographs taken in back-light and with a tight framing.

Bonne composition, mais on dirait que le focus a été très rapproché, ce qui fait que la profondeur requise pour bien voir l'arrière-plan (qui est superbe aussi)n'est peut-être pas assez élevée. Mais c'est très bien quand même, très intéressant.

Superbe prise de vue de ces vieux lavoirs ! Quand je vois de telles photographies (de Bretagne), je me demande combien il faudrait de vies pour pouvoir tout visiter et apprécier.
Pour aujourd'hui, je me contente d'admirer cette très belle composition.

Bon soir Pierre, j'aime votre série de Bretagne beaucoup, toutes très bien composées et avec une définition élevée. Encore tu as choisi une région plein de mémoires de vacances pour moi. Merci bien pour ça!
J'aime les vieux endroits de lavage le long du fleuve beaucoup et également les bâtiments la plupart drapés par des toits ‘mansard’ '. La profondeur est grande, le fleuve nous prend bien dans elle. Très bien fait (également le ‘stitching’). Bravo !

Ce bon que tu me dis que c'était un assemblage car j'avais rien vu! La composition est très bien faite avec cette courbe et ces fleurs en avant plan. Très bien vu!

A excellent depth picture also it perspective is very nice, the flowers beneath in the angle give a summer feeling, the green vegetation together with river make a nice composition.

Une bien bonne réalisation que celle-ci. Je n'aurais pas deviné qu'il s'agissait de deux photos. Une entreprise qui ne doit pas être évidente en contre-jour. La lumière est bonne, l'image est bien balancée et j'apprécie la petite touche de couleur dans la composition avec ces fleurs à gauche.

Nice view "around the bend" of the old town, Pierre. The grey and brown tones of the medieval skyline contrast well with the vivid spring colors, and the curved shingle roof at the bottom right is a very appealing detail to be included, I think. Perhaps a little more contrast would be okay for this one. Nice photo.

J'aime les fleurs dans le premier plan, qui ajoutent une éclaboussure vibrante de couleur à la palette généralement sombre. La courbe du jet ajoute la bonne perspective.
I like the flowers in the foreground, which add a vibrant splash of color to the generally sombre palette. The curve of the stream adds good perspective.
