Photographer's Note
To escape a little, I plunged in my photos memories of a voyage in BRITTANY last spring.
BRITTANY is very beautiful! Also I brought back from there many pictures which I would like to divide with you, from time to time, not to forget my so nice CORSICA.
The vault of la Joie is located at 1km of Saint-Guénolé, in edge of the road of PLOMEUR.
I chose almost without wanting it this photograph to give pleasure with my friend Philippe, you will understand immediately why. I think that he must already know this vault but perhaps not seen under this angle and even less with a rainy weather as I had almost all my stay.
If you like it, I will post a small series on the South Brittany.

Ce cadrage est très intéressan, et permet également d'admirer le joli village derrière. C'est marrant comme ce clocher semble étroit. Une belle netetté et des couleurs "vraies". Bravo et merci,

Hi Pierre, This is a very nice POV. I like the way you shot the front wall in the straight angle. The lower tower top went through the window of the higher tower. Well designed composition. Good contrast and well detailed.

There are som many nice photos of Bretagne here.
Really nice photo with gloomy, convinzing atmosphere. I like the greyish colours and the composition. Good sharpnes as well.

A delightful scene from the Bretagne, Pierre. Good framing with the stone wall and the old chapel in the foreground, and a nice DOF towards the village in the back. The rainy and overcast setting is not too bad and actually adds a good atmospheric touch. Nice photo.

Bienvenue au club par cette intéressante composition à marée basse, malgré le temps couvert la photo n'est pas sous exposée par la forte luminosité "non" apparente des nuages. N'oublions pas que les UV sont fortement réfléchis par la couche nuageuse.

Cette prise de vue n'est pas tombée dans l'oeil d'un aveugle et je tiens à te remercier pour cette délicate attention.
Un véritable plaisir pour les yeux. Je ne sais plus si l'on doit parler de photographie ou de peinture (je pencherai plus pour une peinture tant la composition est faite de subtilités de petits détails, accompagnée d'un mélange de couleurs, digne d'un grand peintre).
Superbe !
Je classe tout de suite cette photo dans mes favoris.

en sachant les pannes importantes d'électricité...il est tout fait compréhensible d'avoir la nostalgie...cette photo " belle chapelle " construite sur une forteresse...dit moi ce que l'on voit autour du mur est-ce la marée base? y a t'il de l'eau qui doit y venir...bon cadrage et belle relique dont je ne connaissais pas l'endroit...merci...bon dimanche...amicalement BI

Bonjour !
J'aime beaucoup cette photo. L'ambiance pluvieuse change un peu de celle ensoleillée de la photo que j'ai postée aujourd'hui. Par contre il me semble que c'est la chapelle de Notre-Dame de la Joie et non la chapelle de la Madeleine. Amicalement.
