Photographer's Note
Chapel Notre-Dame-de-Beauvais or Notre-Dame-de-la-Charité (1892). In this place was once a sanctuary oldest, Notre-Dame de Toutes Aides, destroyed in the late fifteenth century. A new chapel was erected in 1481 and enlarged in the middle of the seventeenth century. Frairienne This chapel, located south of town, seems, by its Gothic door and windows lobed, up to the fifteenth century. One notices within a stone cross carved rudely, said to have preceded the chapel. It has many pilgrimage to the feast of the Visitation and throughout the month of July. John Ogier, who is said to have been rector of the Theil-de-Bretagne in the seventeenth century, founded masses in this sanctuary reserved for his successors the presentation of earnings.

Architecturally interesting buildings. Most of the Romanesque style points, but it lighter design. Their rates are nice, the tower was crafted. Beautiful color of the brick rows exist on the optimal point of view, the colors are beautiful. The note is good.

Bonjour Valérie,
Voilà un belle et atypique chapelle de notre belle Bretagne. Breton je me suis pourtant peu aventuré en Ille-et-Vilaine pour faire de la photo, va falloir y remédier !!! Une très belle mise en valeur de l'édifice avec une bonne gestion de cette lumière hivernale. Bonne photo et merci tant pour la note intéressante que la photo intérieure.

Eye catching gothic cathedral with interesting variations of classical architecture, surrounded by 'sleeping' trees. It also appears it could be used as a defensive structure?
