Brehat is a French island located in the department of Cτtes-d'Armor the northern tip of the Arcouest in Britain. Brehat has lent his name to the archipelago Brehat it is the largest island. Her name is Brittany Enez Vriad.
The island, together with some neighboring islands, is a municipality (officially named Ξle-de-Brehat), based in Canton de Paimpol (Borough of Saint-Brieuc), an area of 309 hectares for a population of 421 inhabitants in 1999, 406 in 2001, 382 in 2006.
The permanent population has declined sharply (1 559 in 1873, 1 400 in 1952, 653 in 1982), however the summer population can reach about ten thousand inhabitants.
Marine Connection closed doors (to the south, facing the continent) with the tip of the Arcouest all year, and with Paimpol Erquy, Dahouλt, Binic and Saint-Quay-Portrieux summer.
The island is actually composed at high tide of two islands: the island terrain north of the Landes and the south island more flowers and are connected by the bridge Vauban (or Pont ar Prat).
La Chapelle Saint-Michel Roche to blooms of the island and the archipelago Brehat form dangerous shoals, boating is particularly difficult and requires strong maritime knowledge.
Brehat was 1 natural site classified France
Climate
Its microclimate, particularly mild winter, offers a wide variety of flowers and plants. This is one of the few places in "North Britain" which can grow Mediterranean plants, as frosts are more common than on the coasts of the common Ploubazlanec and the "sunbelt."
Geology
It is also an island where there is pink granite, yet far east of the "Pink Granite Coast" which starts around Perros-Guirec. Between trees, flowers and pink granite, the contrasts of light are particularly eloquent.

Bonjour Valιrie,
Tu as rιussi ΰ capter une fantastique lumiθre.

Amicalement
