The Lighthouse of Ile-Noire island
: That island is situated on the bay of Morlaix in Brittany...

This island is could really seen as a big rock about 60m long and a dozen meters wide.
It can be reached by foot at low tide since the peninsula Barnenez opposite.
In 1841 a petition supported by the local Chamber of Commerce and signed by all the captains Trgorrois claims 4 installing lights to illuminate the channel leading to the commercial port of Morlaix.
In 1844 lamps are constructed to Lande and on the Ile Noire.
The lighthouse on the Ile-Noire (island-black) consists of a square tower stone of the Ile-Grande iland and mollon (rock) of the island-Sterec nearby.
This lighthouse was inhabited by families until 1938, the date at which an automatic fire has been lit.
Today the lighthouse is no longer active, some local legends run against him.
It is said that Herg would have inspired the adventures of tintin .. :-)
Picture taken from the tip of "Penn Al Lann" in Carantec with my 300mm lens (which gives this effect if closer).
That also explains the grey sky that is in fact the horizon, the views coming from the Bay of Morlaix show the beautiful blue sky there was that day ;-)
Adding title frame and post-processing.
