Photographer's Note
Here is what is called "Le pont des amoureux", the lovers bridge, which you can see at the end of the small canal. This canal flows into the Annecy lake, and is called le "Thiou".
No one knoxs exactly why this bridge is called like that, but there is 2 possible reasons. One is that it was the place where a long time ago you could find a prostitute. But the other legend is quite better : this is just the place where lovers used to meet.
Now the legend says that if you kiss your girl (boy)friend on the bridge, you will be united forever...
