Catching up with my mate, we went for an evening skimboarding session in Palavas, like in the good old days.
Skimboarding can be seen as the poor surfer's sport; What you do while waiting for the swell, but it's so much fun!!!
We rode until dark so I had a bit of fun using long exposures and flash.

Though the camera was shaken during the exposition, the overall impact of this photo is very good. The accurately long exposure gives action, dynamism and juice to this shot, the streaks of water are fascinating. Great sports shot.

Lately I tried to make somethin similar what u have done here. when i was at the lake with friends they tried water skiing but
my fuji finepix wasnt as quick as yours canon with the low shutter speed. But this experiment in your image looks great. I like it,
unsharpen - but with great result of the dynamique.
