Photographer's Note

To my surprise the beautiful St. Germain l'Auxerrois church isn't to be found on the website. The former parish of the Valois kings is situated next to the old Louvre, where the fotress was during medieval times. Although it lacks the ellaborate front of Notre Dame or the sheer size of St. Eustache, its separate bell tower represents a unique feature among Paris' Gothic Churches. St. Germain l'Auxerrois posseses a certain charm and it definately shouldn't be avoided by those interested of a more profound Paris.
