Photographer's Note
I don΄t need to describe the Eiffel tower any more to you but it stood there as a nice background to the first leaves on this tree.
I wrote the title in Swedish just to teach you a Swedish word that is very important to us when we have to put words to the feelings of spring. "Musφron i Paris" means "Mouse-ears in Paris" and musφron is what we call the first tiny little leaves that comes out of the buds and give that first transparent light green of the foliage. I think it is a funny little expression as they really look like mouses ears but greener.

Ah Ebbe, a nicely illustrated foreign language lesson. I like the way you've included nature in this picture - due to the foliage the old ornamentated cast iron looks amazingly ......hmmm springlike?
Well seen!

Great view of the Eiffel tower, you found an original angle. And you know what ? I never noticed these names listed. I found on the official site the meaning of these names... here.

Avery good composition, I like this Eiffel theme of yours. I like the color of the metal construction and I like very much the tree in the foreground. Hard to say which one of them is the subject - a very good job, Ebbe.

What a beautiful orginal view of that old tower. I am always impressed when someone manages a "new" shot of those objects that must have been photographed 10 million times. And the composition and colours are lovely - even if it hadn't been Paris in spring.

"When are you to prune your rose bushes?" - "When the birch carries mouse ears [musφron]!"
So when I lived in a semi-detached house with a small garden, I went across the street the this lovely old birch, looked at the leaves and knew the exact day to prune my roses!!
Again an unusual shot of The Tower and once more including the softer contrast of vegetation. They stand well together in shape and color, underlined by the tight cropp. I'm amazed by the sense of Spring in Paris and by the names on the border of the facade. Well seen and well captured, Ebbe!
Thanks to Didier for the site explaining the names - I've never seen them (long time, Paris)!

Very fine capture and different capture of this great tower (in many senses).
I almost got the impression that this actually growing under the tower - it must be the zoom.
Well captured and framed.

I especially enjoy the names, never knew about those before, well spotted. The fresh green / tired brown color contrast is good and composition spot-on. Very enjoyable.
