Photographer's Note
While playing tourist, I decided to snoop into the Notre Dame and take pics of the pious. Here's a couple at prayer. I ended up staying inside longer than I originally planned, inspecting the ornate structure... it also gave me some reprieve from the bitter cold.

Thats a very atmospheric and higly emotive photo.
The womans agony are sculpted on her face creating a drama

Michael: Such warmth of colour in the lights, walls, and floor. It say to me - peacefullness - (a refuge indeed). I can see why you would want to stay a while to warm up! The tallness and ornateness of the pillars give me a feeling of safeness.

The lighting here is so nice in creating such a sacred and mysterious mood.

Wow, this is a beautiful image. The grande arcitecture is enchanced by the beautiful lights here, the reflections in the floor and the mysterious shade in the roof. The lighting and sharpness of the faces on the two people praying is great.
