Photographer's Note

The carriage of the goods and logistics occupy today an increasing place in the economy and the environment of Ile de France (France). A report/ratio of the CESR recommends a real step of durable development in the taking into account of the harbour infrastructures at the time of the revision of the directing Diagram of Ile de France. With 500 kilometers of inland waterways to large gauge and many harbour installations as well in Paris, as Gennevilliers, Bonneuil-on-Marne, Nanterre, Montereau… the water way plays an important part in the daily provisioning of the goods of the area irrigated by the Seine, its affluents and its channels. Transported types of goods: - Aggregates. - Domestic and industrial Waste. - Cereals. - Energy-generating Products (coal). - Metallurgical Products. - Containers. - Heavy or bulky Parcel.
