Photographer's Note
According to the literature, the Norman architectural style appeared with the Middle Ages. Last nine centuries later, it conquered Europe, the Middle East and even South America. These beautiful houses form part of the balneal architecture which developed all along the littoral that one baptized « La Cτte Fleurie ».
To obtain the best POV of these villas two conditions are needed, initially to await the heat sun of the end according to midday and especially that the tide is low. All these beautiful villas which date from the end of the 19θ century, properties of rich families, have each one her history. Some were sold by their owner to be divided into several distinct apartments.

This is a nice shot of this great architecture. Your composition is great showing the houses from the beach with the seawall in the foreground. The angle you choose gives us a nice view of the houses showing more than one facade of each. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and DOF.

Beaucoup de dιtails sur l'architecture de ces demeures sont visibles sur cette composition. Les contrastes obtenus et le POV mettent bien en valeur ces belles villas de bord de mer.

Hello Jean Luc. I have been looking at more of your photos of Basse Normandie. I can see that it is an area I will have to visit. This photo is a beautiful capture of this very interesting and charming architecture. Lovely composition with the angled line of the trees behind, and it has nice light and good sharpness. Very nice indeed.
