Photographer's Note

I am a member of the association that owns the bisquine "La Granvillaise", a replica of the traditionnal sailboats of the Mont Saint Michel area.
Making sure that the boat is in good condition is part of the job. This year, the big issue was to buy new sails for the boat. It takes a while, to find the right sail maker, to raise the money, and then to wait for the sails to be made.
The new sails arrived last week and Friday was the first trial. They look clean and have a good shape, and we hope that they will help La Granvillaise win the regatta against her sister La Cancalaise, in July!
