Hi Kari, well... if I were you I'd remove the word "pet" from the note lol...;))) Really great composition here, penetrated with the clear autumn air, these yellow trees give a nice background to the simple scene. Like it very much.

Great autumn photo! The lighting on the trees helps to bring out the great autumn colors. Your composition is great adding the boaters in the foreground with the trees as a backdrop.

Hi Kari,
You know the first thing I did when I saw the photo was remark to myself how many memories it brought back to me , rowing a boat on lake champlain (Vermont) in the fall when the air is crisp and most of the "summer people" have gone home for the season, A great time to be near the water. Then I read your note and I see the man rowing his dog in the boat, and its almost like the dog is sitting there having a converstion with him. I love it.. great shot. TFS

ups a pet in the picture...what can I say ;)
any how It seems like a very fine day for rowing. Colours and pov works well together and the upside down boats on the shore gives an extra dimension.

Very peaceful scene. Reminds me of Nopoming park in Canada. No people around for miles, just the boat, me and my friend, and our fishing rods. Man what a day.
