Photographer's Note
Bridges of Savonlinna.
In the front the wooden bridge is a walkway to the Barn island (Tallisaari), which is the way to castle Olavinlinna.
In background is an old railroad bridge. In old days all the traffic went through it. It was almost destroyed during the WW2 by the Russian fighters. Even today you can see the bullet holes all over the metallic structure.

Nice niew of the bridge in B&W where the light is well treated and the contrast is not too strong.

Beuatiful and poetic scene from a nice town. Panorama format, framing style and choice of toning colour all support the overall feeling.
