Photographer's Note
I feel a bit silly submitting this one after the summer of hurricanes and floods. A local, Nordic thunderstorm filled the air with water and ice causing local floods here and there.
However, I found composing this image as an interesting practice. Resized and rotated photos so that they show roughly the same area. Adjusted colours so that grey concrete is grey. Added brightness and contrast quite a lot on the left one.

Hi,
Nice constrast between the rainy picture and the other. It seems that the man on the right image has some snow on his head !

Varsin omaperδinen idea ja taitava toteutus. Mielenkiintoisen ennen-jδlkeen -kuvan olet saanut aikaan ihan arkisesta aiheesta. Kumpikin kuva vφrkkii yksinkin mutta nδin rinnakkainaseteltuna vielδkin paremmin. C-rapun astmaattinen vanhapiika sateenvarjon kanssa ja B-rapussa asuva ruotsalaissyntyinen taloyhtiφn hallituksen puheenjohtaja ihmettelemδssδ takatalvea toimivat oivina katseenvangitsijoina ja elintδrkeinδ elementteinδ koko kompositiolle.
Kuva toimii hyvin matkailunedistδmistarkoituksessakin; Tervetuloa vaan heinδkuussa Suomeen nauttimaan helteistδ ja Yφttφmδstδ Yφstδ ;-)

Very clever idea- I love how you put a person in both pictures- in about the same place. Its really a great idea. Good job!

Kari,
no need to feel silly, Te is about the world, and nature can hardly be strange. Beautiful daily life picture.
What I realy like is the pOV, and the contraxt between the behaviour oof the two people; the woman walking through it, the man looking at it.
We had strange enormous rains here also, luckely no ice.
