Photographer's Note
Shot from my window.
Night mist made the ordinary scene look different, so I decided take a photo of it. Backlights of a car were a detail worth waiting for. I wish there was more of them, but shot between 3 and 4 AM, there wasn't much traffic.
Removed noise from dark areas with median filter. Brightened a little. Sharpened after resize.

Nice sci fi mood. Theres a feeling of loneliness and foreboading. The thing I would have done is increase the exposure by a bit to really elongate the motion of the lights, amke it longer and stronger so that it stretches over the entire height of the shot.

The lighting here is great! I like how the streetlights are illuminating that little tree in the roundabout as if they're paing homage to it.

Hi Kari,
The mist does create an interesting effect. I like the lighting from the street lamps and the car backlights are an added bonus. Well composed and a unique shot!

I just discover your theme and I appreciate your idea. You have captured so many different moods ! I like the mist here and the small red light running. I can feel the humidity too.
