Flashback from last year. Initium was a set of UV light art installations at 240th anniversary celebrations of the city of Tampere. Artworks were created by Finnish art collective Flowers of Life.
Title "After Dark", a Blue Φyster Cult song from the album Fire of Unknown Origin (1981).

Hi Kari.
Kind of unique presentation here. The celebration of the city turned into a light festival. Seems like many new projects have been finalized for that occasion, a good reason for locals to be happy about. A great night shot, TFS.

Hello Kari,
This is a fine capture from the anniversary celebrations!
The edges of the light display seem to be flaming outwards, as would happen with a a real fire, and the colours are wonderfully vibrant against the dark sky.
There is just enough peripheral light to show us that the celebration was well attended, without distracting from the focal lights.

the city isn't so old, my state have many older..
impressive this artwork in the air, remind me a feather of peacock. excellent quality of image under difficult conditions of light.
