Kbenhavns Rdhus by Night

My year in Copenhagen has come to an end and yesterday I returned to the Netherlands. This picture of Kbenhavns Rdhus (Town Hall of Copenhagen) is meant as a "goodbye-photo".
Of course I will after this photo continue my pictures from my trip to Southern Sweden last week and I also have a lot of other pictures from Copenhagen. :-D

Kbenhavns Rdhus was designed by Martin Nyrop and built from 1892 to 1905. On 12 September 1905 the city hall was put into use officially. The tower of the city hall is one of the tallest buildings in Copenhagen: 105m and the architect got inspiration for the tower from the city hall of Siena, Italy.
Rdhuset is located at Rdhuspladsen (Town Hall Square), next to Tivoli.

The blue lights reflected in the windows are advertisements at both sides of the shopping street Strget.

Two other pictures of Kbenhavns Rdhus:
Century Reflections
Rdhuspladsen Reflections
This picture will also be added to my new theme: Copenhagen by Night

I had asked my father if he could bring his tripod, when I came to me last week, so I used that one for this picture. :-)
I hope you like this picture!
