Photographer's Note
Shot taken during a walk on one of the few sandy beaches on the Faroes on Sandoy island. The dog joined me in the village and followed, encouraging to play, for over an hour. I used the automatic portrait mode and polarization filter. PP: just contrast correction and sharpening after resize.

Beautiful portrait with an excellent backdrop. I love all the details. Maybe, it's just the monitor I'm viewing this from, but the blacks look very dark. Some dodging much help. Lovely photo with a great story.
