Photographer's Note
I visited the marsh land in the south west part of Denmark, called “Tψndermarsken”. It’s a low land area, protected only against the sea by embankments (dikes). At the dikes there are several floodgates used to control the water level.
The first flood gates was build in 1861. A lot of land was reclaimed. But the storm surge in 1976, clearly showed that the old flood gate hardly could take the pressure once more. More than 10,000 peoples was evacuated from the area.
In 1977 Danish and German government decided to build a border crossing dike, with a total length of 14 km. The dikes was inaugurated in 1981 by the Danish Queen Margrethe II and was named after her; “Margrethediget”
If you ever come by Hψjer please go to the embankments... there are tons of pictures to be taken.

Very unusual composition but it really works. The colours are great and so is the note.

interessante cette photo, prise d'un angle inhabituel, j'aime beaucoup ce genre de clichι,la perspective est ok,le rendu des couleurs est bien reussi...les nuages ajoutent une note dans cet athmosphθre...bien vu...bravo BI

Nice view Jorn, very good vertical presentation, very clear and nice contrast with this normal but nice sky, well done.

The similarity between the color of the wood elements and that of the water is very interesting. The blue sky creates a nice contrast with those brown tones.
Good sharpness and DoF too.
