Photographer's Note
I've become quite fascinated with the way the Danish sky looks these days, it seems that every afternoon it has about half an hour of pure drama. So yesterday when that happened a grabbed my bike and camera and went out for that half hour and returned with a million diffrent shots of the sky. This one shows a road that was completely empty, except for one car I had to clone out.
The Danish summer isn't really showing it's best side a the moment, but as for photographing the sky it's brilliant :o)
PP. Converted to sepia, added contrast and framed.

"O" that is a brilliant shot for sure Line. I like the way the road dips and carries on into that furious looking sky/horizon. Iv noticed on Trek earth many times what fantastic Sky's you Danish folk seem to have.

What a difference with other landscape of yuo, Jeppe, Kay ecc! This is another Denmark! It seems that the roads leads you to the end of the world. Dramatic sky. No hope for noboby! Great picture. All your soul you put in it.

waouuu ! on dirait une photo de science fiction, les extra-terrestres vont arriver avec leurs soucoupes volantes (ufo)C'est superbe, la composition est totalement rιussie, j'aime cette route qui file vers l'horizon si sombre. Bravo

I love the double stripe on the road...with the curve it could be the hood with twin stripes of a roadster classic....the Ford GT40!
Without the car even this picture has me in the GT heading towards the black on the horizon...I think I need to go see a shrink..!!!

Very dramatical scene, Burnham.
It`s proves that with a little bit like a sepia tones you can make unreal wonderful scenes.
Very well done.

This is a very nice composition here Line, what a great road you have chosen to photograph. The road and the field just look so great and your conversion to Sepia is very effective too. The sky here is good, although to be honest, it is the weaker part of the photo for me. The blow outs bother me and the dark areas are a little too dark. Like I said, it is a good sky, but not a great sky. I wonder if the balance between the sky and road might be even better if you could shoot this early in the morning? Anyways, this is a very well done composition and very pleasing photo overall.
Did you add this to the scavenger hunt? This should qualify as a vanishing point.

Wow, what a magnificent shot you have made here Line!! Just fascinating to look at it, I have found myself lost in it!! Beautifully done, I wonder if you kept the original with the car? That one might be interesting as well! Amazing work!

Wow - you found the end of the world - wonder whats on the otherside - but hopefully its not your district ;-))
Amazing sky, clouds and light you captured here Line - the road and field somehow mix with the sky and make this photo very special (a favorite) - Congratulation with the fine result - on bike :-) did you get wet?

I find the pp on the sky overdone, it starts to look more puzzling and strange than dramatic, the image is on the verge of disintegrating into two separate images - sky and landscape - that don't belong together anymore.
The lines of the landscape and the way they are balanced in the composition are brilliant and the similarity in the texture of both road and field (in the photo) helps a lot to give the feeling of a large horizontal expanse under the sky.

Well Line yet again another brilliant picture, this one has the feel of a 50`s "B" movie, so moody with the dark sky and vanishing road, a well accomplished removal of the car.
you really will have to go into the poster printing buissness

Very nice idea to convert it to sephia. The sky is magnificent. I like the point of view of the landscape, the road is off centered to the left. The clouds seem really menacing! Good job!

Great, well framed comoposition. Very unreal, but a wonderul effect. I like how all the lines are parallel and slope into the distance. The sky is somewhere in between strange and dramatic.
Great work.

Well, I guess not much to add for me at this time, Line ... except to say that this is one of the most effective compositions I've seen in a landscape shot on TE in a while. The "vanishing point" effect is a very strong one, even more so from the way the shiny white separating line stands out from the surroundings in your sepia presentation. The sky above the fields is imposing, almost looking like a watercolor treatment. The horizon line where the clouds meet the land is delightfully and mysteriously dark. Just great.

A great shot ! You decided to point out the contrast between the (amazing) sky and the horizon line and some would prefer to have a softer contact (Don't know if you see what I mean...). Your decison to turn the pict into sepia was great, and it makes it more dramatic and impressive. The perspective given by the road is great too. Exceptional view !

In light of our recent conversation I'm not surprised to see this image, but I'm surely delighted by the quality of your work. This is dramatic and beautifully rendered. I love the texture of the road surface giving way to the less detailed weeds at the side of the road and to the softness of the fields, all beneath that dramatic sky. I'd be curious to see the photo with the car in place, since I could imagine a single car working if it were driving away. I'm certain you made the best decision from a design sense. This is among your best work, at least to my eye Line.

Great work here Line. Being a photographer, we need to be a good observer as well a geographer and historian to a certain extend. That way your photograph has values the viewer can relate to. Getting the road dimishing into the stormy horizon is dramatic here almost surreal.

It's a great picture. Unfortunately, your cloning out of the car is still evident in the picture - it takes a certain amount of care to ensure that the picture isn't disrpted by the cloning process. Fortunately, the dramatic impact of the road and clouds doesn't draw attention to the artifact.
