When I look to this amazing capture I guess it is made under the moonlight, bathing this ice on a sweet light and creating those wonderful colours and textures. Composition, colours and light are all superb...

Good old Kodachrome! I seem to remember it had a slightly warm cast: that's hardly the case here, though the blues may seem to have a purplish hue. The backlighting however is what makes this image so successful. I'm guessing you used a polarizer to get that dramatic sky. That lens is no slouch either. Great work!
