Photographer's Note
This is without any kind of competition the most photographed subject in my hometown of Hillerψd. Every year thousands of tourists visit this beautiful castle and the surrounding gardens.
Frederiksborg Castle was built by Christian 4th in 1600-century early decades and is the largest Renaissance castle in Scandinavia. The new building should emphasize and strengthen King Christian's position as a powerful European monarch. Thus the palace is richly decorated with symbolic and decorative elements such as the impressive Neptune Fountain and the marble gallery.
Since 1878, Frederiksborg Castle has been home to the National History Museum, which tells 500 years of history of Denmark through its collection of portraits, history paintings, furniture and decorative arts. The museum was established by Carlsberg founder JC Jacobsen, and has since been an independent department of the Carlsberg Foundation.
I have tried out an alternative view of the castle from the garden, as TE already contains a wealth of other images from Frederiksborg.

Hello, Allan,
Wonderful place, I was in FredriksbErg only. There is not so beautiful residence of the kings and queens. An interesting composition, outstanding background!
Thanks for memories!

This is an interesting and unique composition, Allan. Focusing on this small, well manicured shrub instead of the iconic Frederiksborg is probably a difficult choice to make, and one most visitors probably wouldn't - but then you're not a visitor, you see this castle every day!
I see you were shooting at your widest aperture; for me the DOF is good, but a bit more of a blurred BG would I think accentuate the shrub more and make the castle more of a symbolic shape, improving it a bit. Maybe a wider focal length, allowing you to get closer to the shrub and making the DOF more shallow in the process? Just a thought - this is a really nice image, and you've got some promising ones in your gallery! Welcome to TE.

Hej Allan,
jeg synes det er en meget godt idι!
Take that old castle as a blurred background and focus on a tree shaped into a geometrical perversion. Try to repeat that with a light more fitting to your idea!
