Veletrzni Palac.
In my quest for less crowded spaces, I managed to find this very interesting museum a few metro stops away from the city centre.
I really liked the way the various levels would face each other , with a transparent elevator connecting the floors.
On the ground floor is the majestic Slav Epic cycle by Mucha, on the various floors are works by Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Rodin, Gauguin, Cιzanne, Renoir, Schiele, Munch, Mirσ and Klimt. The rest of the museum is dedicated to applied arts, architecture, modern and contemporary art exhibits, etc.
Needless to say, it was almost empty - which suited me fine, after the claustrophobic city centre.
Unfortunately the picture is distorted, since I dropped the lens some time ago and was never able to get it fixed. I tried to correct the distortion in Photoshop but the result is not ideal - I'll have to buy a new lens, sooner or later...
