In Prague you can see vintage cars replace the horses and carriages that used to be offered for sightseeing tours. But - the cars are not old at all, but brandnew! Maybe in other popular tourist destinations they can be seen as well, for me it was a new and unfamiliar sight.
The other very special car is the little Smart with the sign "Polizei.cz" At first I thought it was a clever idea to use tiny police cars on pedestrian roads in crowded cities, but a second glance let me hesitate: Polizei is a german word, why should it be used in Prague? Google told me the answer: it has nothing to do with police, it΄s an insurance, and guess for what? Insurance against fines for traffic offenses.
