Photographer's Note
The church of St. John the Evangelist in Rab surprises with its magnificent ruins and its well-preserved tower, the early Christian church was rebuilt in Roman times before being destroyed.
Today, only vestiges (columns of the apse essentially) that are raised outdoors in a garden. Carefully climb to the top of the bell tower (the stairs are dangerous) and enjoy a fantastic view of Rab and its surroundings, the port, the bay of St. Euphemia, the row of the upper town steeples and roofs of the lower town.

La iglesia de S. Juan Evangelista, en Rab sorprende por sus magnificas ruinas y su torre muy bien conservada, esta iglesia paleocristiana fue remodelada en época románica antes de ser destruida.
Hoy, sólo quedan vestigios (columnas del ábside esencialmente) que se alzan al aire libre en un jardín. Suba con cuidado hasta lo alto del campanario (las escaleras son peligrosas) y disfrutará de una fantástica vista de Rab y su entorno, el puerto, la bahía de Santa Eufemia, la hilera de campanarios de la ciudad alta y los tejados de la ciudad baja.

Hello Luis,
You found a perfect frame for the old tower, which seems to fit here almost like a key in a keyhole. The exposure is excellent both inside the vault and on the outside. This must have been the tower I once climbed myself, although I don't remember the entrance. But I recognize your description of the fantastic view, so it must have been this one. It's a very elegant photo, better than any I took here.

The light in this is exquisite, every part is lit perfectly even the beautifully considered framing with the arch. The arch also adds extra depth and I think creates movement in the sky. Cool photo

Lovely structure and a perfect presentation.
I did not visit this particular place, I suppose there are several places which I didn't have a chance to see and after seeing your reportage I would like to go to Croatia again :)
But probably it is time to see other places next time...
I didn't finish sharing my photos from this country yet but I have some other occasions, hence a break :)
