These weels are waiting in one of the many docks of the Antwerp Harbour. A place I come oftenly.You can have endless sights or docks loaded with shipments waiting for the next cargo to take them all over the world.

Very nice graphical image - I like this strongly focused composition very much. I can feel the weight of the solid weels. The rusty colors are enhancing its too!

I had a picture similar to this many years ago, in B&W and it was one of my favourites ! I suggest to spot and isolate, with the help of the zoom, just the half circles of the wheels, like they are visible in the top left part of the frame. It comes out a nice abstract composition.

Une jolie capture graphique avec une bonne qualitι d'image.Je ne connais pas les conditions dans lesquelles tu as rιalisι cette photo mais peut κtre qu'en cadrant lιgθrement diffιrement il y avait moyen de cacher l'essieu et rendre l'ensemble encore plus "abstrait"; mais bon je dis celΰ sans connaξtre l'environnement et les possibilitιes de cadrage, et de plus le rιsultat actuel est dιjΰ trθs satisfaisant.

i really liked this kind of composition here..the colours are perfectly original..a more streatching of the backside would have been better, according to me.

good point of view , half realistic in the right corner with the entire wheel and more and more abstract as soon as the eyes go to the top of the frame

Hi Griet,
A good detail shot with repeating forms. And a good question. I don't know about recycling of train wheels. Maybe they will be shipped somewhere for a lighter use. Or appear as new after maintenance. Or just melted in a steel factory.

Tiens y a de quoi se muscler les biceps avec toutes ces halteres ;o) Une tres bonne compo surtout sur la partie superieure avec cette repetition qui semble etre infinie.
